Party in the Park – The Long Walk Windsor

A fun-packed afternoon on the Long Walk, Windsor of activities featuring cars and music from the 7 Decades of The Queen’s reign. Everyone in the local community is invited to join in the fun and celebrate the Platinum Jubilee in style so bring your picnic and join us to celebrate the Jubilee weekend – entirely for free – no tickets required!
Enjoy the Jubilee Party in the Park in the magnificent surroundings of the Long Walk. The day which will run from 11am through to the evening, and you are welcome to come along for as long as you wish. Bring your picnic blankets, tables/chairs, and your own picnics or enjoy the food and refreshments which will be available from stalls on the Long Walk on the day.

Royal Ramble - The Emmbrook Trail
29th May - 6th June
Buy your map for £3 and spend some time enjoying the sights of Emmbrook as you spot the 38 displays going up around people's homes to celebrate the Queens Jubilee.
Buy your map online and then collect from: Emmbrook Food and Wine, Emmbrook Post Office or the Co-op on Queen's Road, Wokingham and see how many you can find.
This exciting trail will have displays themed around the word 'royal'. Will you spot any Corgis? What about Postman Pat? Perhaps you will find the crown jewels. With two local pubs and three play parks within walking distance, you can enjoy this lovely local trail. The money from all map sales go to the Emmbrook Primaries PTA

Wokingham Town Council present Platinum Party in the Park 2022! Brand new to Elms Field, this FREE event, taking place on Saturday 4th June, will be packed with live music, food, drink, and family fun.
Platinum Party in the Park is a celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and a great reason to bring the town of Wokingham together to dance the day (and night!) away. Taking place from 2pm in Elms Field, where you will be taken on a musical journey through the decades with live music from the 1950’s, the decade of Her Majesty’s coronation, right through to current times. Jubilee Children's Concert at Forbury Gardens

Since its launch in 2009, The Big Lunch has encouraged communities across the UK to celebrate their connections and get to know each other a little bit better. This year, The Big Jubilee Lunch will take place on Sunday 5th June and forms part of the official celebrations for HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
TCB’s Jubilee Children’s Concert will provide the perfect atmosphere for The Big Jubilee Lunch at Forbury Gardens, with the band performing a concert full of family-friendly music from The Lion King, Despicable Me 2, Brave, The Greatest Showman, and much more!
Not only is this fun-packed afternoon the finale of the borough’s Jubilee weekend events, but also the culmination of the three-week-long Reading Children’s Festival.

Jubilee Farm Festival – Bucklebury Farm
2nd - 5th June
Jubilee Farm Festival at Bucklebury Farm to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee. What a better way to celebrate 70 years of service than 4 days of fun and entertainment at the farm.
From circus performers, musicians, arts and crafts, lots of delicious food and drinks. Not forgetting all the normal farm activities including tractor rides to feed the deer up close, play areas and more! Pre-Booking online is essential as spaces are limited for each day.

The Festival of Food and Music at South Hill Park.
The Festival of Food and Music returns this summer – and this year it will also be a celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
At South Hill Park, Friday 3rd June, Saturday 4th June and Sunday 5th June 2022.
It’s free entry to this unmissable event for all ages – no need to book tickets in advance; just turn up on the day and bring the sunshine!

Celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee at The Lexicon
The Lexicon will be regally resplendent in red, white, and blue during The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations June from the 1st May 2022.
Braccan Walk will be adorned with bunting and the steps in Bond Square will also proudly display the emblem for this historic event. To start the celebratory weekend, The Lexicon, supported by Bracknell Forest Council, will be hosting a special version of The Lexicon Proms in Bond Square on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
Hosted by BBC Radio Berkshire presenter Bridgitte Tetteh, The Lexicon Jubilee Proms aims to bring the community together with a rousing mix of live music, dance performances and much more.
At 2pm, the phenomenal Pantasy Steel Band will take the stage, with its steel drums sure to get people’s toes tapping.
At 3:15pm, the incredible Rakhi Sood dancers will take the stage with a range of Kathak, Bollywood and Bhangra dancing.
Next up at 4.15pm is the D-Day Darlings and the D-Day Juniors with their patriotic repertoire of military anthems from yesteryear.
Next on the line-up at 5.15pm is local singer and songwriter, Henjila performing a mix of her songs alongside a wide range of your favourite pop songs.
The amazing Rock Choir will take to the stage at 6.15pm, entertaining the visitors with well-known sing-a-long popular classics.
And finally, at 7.00pm, Chelsea Pensioner Colin Thackery, 2019 Britain’s Got Talent winner will take the stage with the D-Day Darlings for a rousing finale.
Rob Morris, general manager at The Lexicon says: “We’re delighted to be able to mark The Queen’s 70-years of service, with a range of community activities. “We believe that the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is a fantastic opportunity for the local community to get together at The Lexicon to both celebrate and reflect on this historic occasion.”
The Lexicon will be supporting The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacon Trail, an interactive geogaming story-telling trail for families to follow around the town centre, which will commence May 2 2022. Along the trail, visitors will not only discover cute characters, but also get to see them burst to life in augmented reality. And, families can capture this special moment in time at the Queen’s Jubilee selfie station located on Braccan Walk North opposite Skechers, opening from May 20 2022.
The Lexicon and Bracknell Forest Council will also be taking part in the Platinum Jubilee Beacon, which will be lit in Union Square in the evening of Thursday, June 2, 2022. Bracknell Forest Council is looking for people to share their own encounters and memories about HRH The Queen to become a lasting video celebration, which will be available for everyone to view in Princess Square from June 1 2022.
On Saturday, April 30 and Sunday May 1 2022, between 11.00 am and 4.00 pm a video crew will be in Princess Square, ready to record visitors’ royal recollections. Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, executive member for economic development and regeneration at Bracknell Forest Council says: “With the Borough’s close proximity to the Royal Family, so many of us have stories and memories to share. The Joyful Jubilee Studio is a fabulous community led tribute to HRH The Queen. “The celebrations will run across the borough, more details to follow. This really is a chance for communities to get together and celebrate this joyous event.”
